MEMORANDUM OF ORAL DECISION DELIVERED BY L. M. BRUCE ON APRIL 3, 2018 AND ORDER OF THE TRIBUNAL

[1] This was the third pre-hearing conference (“PHC”) in an appeal by 500 Bloor Street Property Inc. (“500 Bloor”), 844 Bathurst Holdings Inc. (“844 Bathurst”), and 2538779 Ontario Inc. of a decision by the City of Toronto (“City”) to adopt Official Plan Amendment No. 349 (“OPA 349 ”) and pass Zoning By-law Amendment 1283-2016 (“ZBLA”). The amendments address land uses and built form within the Bathurst-Bloor Four Corners Character Area (“Four Corners”).

[2] Party status for the Residents’ Association has now been granted upon the receipt of Seaton Village Resident’s Associations Incorporation document.

[3] The parties are continuing with mediation and are participating in ongoing discussions. The purpose of this brief PHC was to provide the Tribunal with an update and to request two future PHCs. The Tribunal was requested to schedule a fourth PHC which would be held by telephone conference call which would be used to provide the Tribunal with a further update on the progress of discussions. A fifth PHC was requested for the fall of 2018.The parties advised that dependent on ongoing discussions, this PHC may be converted to a settlement conference. 3 PL170103
