Signed and dated by immensely popular ceramics artist Carl 35- Schmidt (1875-1959). Born in , the artist emigrated to the United States in 1883 and eventually worked at Rookwood from 1896 to 1927. One of the few great scenic ornament specialists, Schmidt excelled in depicting European, especially Italian, genres. This 10" x 13" plaque features "Venetian" fishing and sail craft outside Venice's Grand Canal. Overall V.G. condition but crazing is visible. ca 1915-18.

The rim and surface are adorned in bas relief depicting fish swimming clockwise. Dated 1900. 2" x 8" diameter. EX.C. 187 Rare Rookwood Pottery signed bust/head by famed Cincinnati sculptor Clement J. Barnhorn 98- (1857-1935). Marked from the artist to "G.A. Dieterle". 5.5" x 4.5". Not dated - ca 1900. 188 Rookwood Pottery tile of "Music Hall". Mounted in a brown copper tone shadow box. 301 Autographed by Symphony and Opera Dignitaries. 6" x 6". G.C 189 Rookwood Pottery table lamp base supporting an art glass "Handel" satin glass shade. The 51- yellow tone and Art Deco decorated shade is marked #97-96-64 on its brass rim. The lamp base is of a mat glaze and bears an embossed yellow tone floral motif. The shade measures 8" x 16" in diameter. The base is 13" tall x 6.5" in diameter. ca. 1920.

190 Rare, "Rene Lalique" cobalt blue art glass vase titled "Purruches". This Art Deco vase is 40- incredibly decorated with parakeets roosting / resting on tree branches. A bronze custom fitted and footed stand accompanies the vase. 10" x 10". Signed "R. Lalique". ca 1920.
