DAY 1 DAY 1: WELCOME TO - CAPITAL OF THE FJORDS Your holiday begins at Bergen Airport, where you are welcomed by a local representative and transferred to your hotel in the city centre of the “Capital of the Fjords.” If you arrive early, we recommend getting the Bergen Card, which provides free travel on public transport, free admission to museums and discounts on further attractions, sightseeing tours, restaurants and shops. Spend the night in central Bergen. Attractions: Bergen

DAY 2 DAY 2: BERGEN SIGHTSEEING & COASTAL VOYAGE Despite its status as ’s second largest city, Bergen still has the atmosphere and charm of a small town. Here you’ll find Bryggen, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site, along with exceptionally preserved old houses, a lively fish market, cable cars offering stunning views, great museums and much more. In the evening you’ll embark on the Coastal Voyage, offering incredible views along the fjord-studded coastline as you head north. Spend the next four nights on board the ship in a comfortable outside cabin with private facilities. Attractions: Bryggen

DAY 3 DAY 3: MALØY - TORVIK - ÅLESUND - - Among the highlights of today’s journey are the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Geirangerfjord. The ship also passes snow-capped mountains and magnificent waterfalls, such as the Seven Sisters and Bridal Veil, as it navigates from one fjord to another. Optional shore excursions are available today. Attractions: Ålesund, Geirangerfjord, Seven Sisters & Bridal Veil

1/4 DAY 4 DAY 4: - RORVIK Early in the morning the ship docks at the historic city of Trondheim, where you have about 3.5 hours to explore the city on your own or take an optional sightseeing tour. Trondheim is the original capital of Norway, and until the 16th century, it was known as Nidaros. Here you will find the Nidaros Cathedral, one of Scandinavia’s largest buildings from the Middle Ages, along with picturesque little wooden houses. From Trondheim, the ship sails onwards to Rorvik. Attractions: Nidaros Cathedral/Nidarosdomen, Trondheim

DAY 5 DAY 5: ORNES - BODØ - STAMSUND - SVOLVÆR Today you’ll cross the Arctic Circle as the ship heads to the beautiful Lofoten Islands. This leg of the voyage offers spectacular sights, including small islands and skerries with peculiar rock formations, whose origins are the stuff of legend. In the evening, the ship reaches Svolvaer, the main community of the Lofoten Islands. Spend another night on board the ship. Attractions: Lofoten Islands & Svolvær

DAY 6 DAY 6: - - TROMSØ This morning's route takes you past the medieval Church before calling at Harstad. Then, the ship sails across the Vagsfjord and to the magnificent archipelagos in the north. Later on there is a stop in lively Tromsø, the largest town in , with 52,000 inhabitants. Tromsø, often called “Paris of the North,” was a port of call for Russian, British, Dutch, and German ships in the 19th century, before they embarked on Arctic expeditions and hunting trips. In the afternoon you will embark the ship and your coastal voyage has come to an end. After checking in to your hotel in central Tromsø, enjoy dinner at one of the fine local restaurants. In the evening you can add on a northern light tour where you head out into the wild on a guided tour to see some of the brightest aurora displays in the world.* Spend the night at a hotel in Tromsø. *The northern lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed. 2/4 DAY 7 DAY 7: JOURNEY TO THE NORWEGIAN TOWN OF In the morning, board the bus for the 4-hour journey to Narvik. This is a wonderful opportunity to relax and enjoy the rugged, mountainous scenery that makes Norway a favourite among travellers. Spend the night in Narvik. Attractions: Narvik

DAY 8 DAY 8: TRAIN TO KIRUNA AND NORTHERN LIGHTS SAFARI Start the day with a train ride from Narvik to Kiruna, where you are greeted by a local guide and transferred to your hotel in Kiruna, Sweden’s northernmost city. As dusk settles, the guide will lead you on an exciting snowmobile safari into the wild for a chance to see the magical Northen Lights*. Two people share one snowmobile and take turns in driving. Enjoy an authentic Lappish dinner prepared by the guide before returning to the hotel. Spend the night in Kiruna. * Please note that the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) are a natural phenomenon and therefore sightings cannot be guaranteed. Attractions: Kiruna, Northern lights

DAY 9 DAY 9: ICEHOTEL TOUR & SAMI REINDEER FARM VISIT Today, you will enjoy a guided tour of the fascinating ICEHOTEL complex, including the original snow-and- ice structure that is rebuilt each winter and a new permanent structure, the ICEHOTEL 365, which offers a year-round winter experience inside thanks to solar energy. You’ll be able to see an assortment of ice rooms and ice suites as well as the chic ICEBAR, ice church and other creative works of ice and snow. In the afternoon you will be picked up and taken on a tour to a Sami reindeer farm for a close encounter with Rudolf and his friends, followed by a traditional snack in a Sami teepee. Try driving a reindeer sled! You will get the opportunity to learn about the daily lives and history of the Sami people, the native people of northern Scandinavia. Spend another night in Kiruna Optional: Overnight at the ICEHOTEL An overnight at the ICEHOTEL is like living in a fairytale! Snuggle up with your sweetheart on top of soft reindeer skins on a bed made of snow and ice. Regardless of whether you spend the night in the new or original structure, the temperature inside is kept at around - 5°C (21°F) at all times. But no worries! You will receive a thermal sleeping bag to keep you warm and handy tips from ICEHOTEL staff on how to sleep comfortably in your own ice room or suite, on soft reindeer skins atop a bed made of ice. In the morning, wake up to a cup of hot lingonberry juice at your bedside and enjoy a hearty breakfast in the restaurant followed by a refreshing trip to the sauna. 3/4 DAY 10 DAY 10: HUSKY SLED RIDE Today, a skilled musher will pick you up at the hotel for a thrilling Husky sled experience. You will learn to drive your own dog team of four dogs through the breathtaking Lapland landscape. Two people share one sled and take turns in driving. The dogs howl and pull at their harnesses to get moving; as soon as the anchor is lifted, the dogs fall silent and eagerly start pulling the sled through the woods and over the plains. During the break, around the fire, you will be served coffee and a light lunch. Attractions: Dog-sledding Excursions

DAY 11 DAY 11: DEPARTURE Today you are transferred back to Kiruna airport for your departure flight.
