It has gained wide acclaim over the years and reached an international status in 2012. The seventh international conference is being organized by IIT Ropar from 5-7th December 2019. The major focus will be on industrial applications of academic knowledge. In addition to contributory papers, the conference aims at inviting renowned experts for delivering keynote addresses. The conference keywords include but are not limited to: • Advanced materials • Emerging manufacturing processes • Modern manufacturing systems • Fluid dynamics and thermodynamics • Industry 4.0 • Modelling, simulation and optimization for industrial applications • CAD, CAM, CIM, FMS, Concurrent manufacturing • Surface engineering • Metrology and quality control • Sustainable design and manufacturing Please note that the paper can be submitted via online service available at http://www.iitrpr.ac.in/aftmme. The corresponding author needs to create an account and sign in for submitting the paper. The submission portal allows return access to the corresponding author to edit the submitted file. At least one author of the accepted paper has to register for presentation. Full paper or extended abstract of minimum two pages can be submitted by online portal.

Accommodation The participants have to arrange for travel, food and accommodation on their own. Some rooms will be available in guest house and hostels which will be booked based on first-cum-first-served basis. The fee may be charged for guest house or hostel accommodation as per actuals. A number of good hotels are available near to the conference venue. The temperature of the Rupnagar city is quite comfortable and it may vary between 8 to 20 °C during conference. About Venue – IIT Ropar Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) is an Institution of National Importance for higher education in Engineering, Technology and Basic Science. It was established in 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), , to expand the reach and enhance the quality of technical education in the country. The institute is located over a serene campus of 525 acres and is developing infrastructure at a very fast rate. The institute is situated at a naturally attractive place near the banks of Sutlej River and surrounded by the Sivalik range of hills. This place is well connected with various parts of the country through road, rail and air. The nearest airport is at Chandigarh which is just 45 kms from the institute. The laboratories, data- center, workshop, and library of the institute are all well equipped with modern facilities suitable for learning and research.
