The council has completed its search relating to your request for information regarding permanent exclusions, which was received on 24th October 2019.

The council does hold information within the definition of your request.

REQUEST 1. A list of permanent exclusions from your area's schools in the 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/2018, 2018/19 academic years, organised by the name of the school and date, including the reason for each of these exclusions. (Please also include the age and academic year (Reception to Year 13)

If the reason is listed as 'other' please provide further detail of this case.

2. For each of these permanent exclusion cases, a note on what happened to the student after the exclusion (e.g. enrolled in another school, sent to pupil referral unit etc)

3. Any appeals in these year reviewed by an Independent Review Panel [IRP] and the decision made by the IRP, including any documents which explain the panel's reasoning.
