| First-Step Skating Fundamentals class provides a safe and joyful experience as students take their first steps on the ice.

ICE SKATING This 60 minute class (30 minute instruction/ 30 minutes supervised practice) is an introductory class for skaters with no or very little prior ice skating experience. Coaches work on (LTS USA Level 1) body positions to insure balance, marching, into gliding and stopping. A variety of games, obstacle courses and cool PE toys to get skaters moving. No prerequisite. Equipment: long socks, gloves, and helmet recommended. Participants may use hockey or figure skates. Skate rental included.

Girl Scout Ice Skating Program is a fun physically engaging activity for everyone in your troop. As a Program Partner of the Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital, we tailor your ice skating experience to your Daisys, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadets!
