SECURITY SEALS RECORD Enclosed you will find a copy of the Security seals record. These pages will be located in your Roster on Election Day.

The Security seal log is important because it provides a written chronological Record of the seals put in place by Contra Costa County. Written verification from the poll worker establishes a record confirming that the seals put in place by the County were unbroken and are in fact the same seals put in place prior to the Election Day. It is a precaution we take to assure to the Voter that the machines have not been tampered with in any way.

On the back page of Security Seal Record you will find a place to put the used tamper evident seals that you will find supplied to you on Election Day.

We have a separate log for the AutoMARK. This form allows us to track the machine that was used on Election Day. Please take some time to become familiar with these forms.

We have also included a copy of the Lock and Seal Reminders. This is a document we hand out in our training classes. These are helpful rhymes that if memorized will help you remember basic handling procedures that will prove useful on Election Day.
