Giving Hope Giving Back As multi-media specialists, we know that every person has a story and that every story has the power to changes lives. That is why we decided to join the fight against breast cancer in honor of the stories of those touched by the disease. This year, in support of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, “Team Stokes” donated a wedding gown to the “Brides Against Breast Cancer” mission and raised funds for the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk – held on October 26 at the Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Brides Against Breast Cancer is dedicated to providing programs for cancer patients and their families around the country. Their educational outreach efforts during their “Nationwide Tour of Gowns” bridal shows help ensure that those impacted by the disease have the resources and information needed during their battle. The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is devoted to raising money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society with groundbreaking breast cancer research, information and 24-7 support, including access to mammograms for women who need them. “At Stokes, we know the power our giving can create. This is not only our opportunity to join our community and help raise awareness for those facing the disease, but it is also a way for us to give hope by giving back,” says Joanne Stokes, President of Stokes Creative Group, Inc.
