*Awarded Over $50,000 in total cash prizes*

Breed: Sealyham - 146th ranked breed according to AKC Registration Statistics

Age at time of win: 3

Home: Cochranville, Pa.

AKC Name: Ch. Efbe’s Hidalgo at Goodspice

Story Behind the Name: Margery Good, Charmin’s breeder/owner/handler, tells us ”at 4 months we joked that Charmin seemed white, fluffy and squeezably soft so couldn’t resist the name!”

The theme for Charmin’s litter was race horses and Margery decided on the show name of ‘Hidalgo’ out of great respect for the famous stallion. She says,” Following in his namesake’s tradition, he exhibits great endurance in all show conditions!”

Biggest Wins: Not only was Charmin Best in Show at the 2007 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship but also Best of Breed at the 2007 American Club National specialty show, and he finished the year ranked the #4 all-breed. In 2008, Charmin won the Terrier group at The Westminster Kennel Club show and was named Best in Show at the 2008 “World Show” in Sweden.

Favorite Pastime: “Charmin loves to be with me, like my shadow, and do everything with me,” says Margery. ”He runs in the yard, walks in the park, and hangs out in the grooming room while I work.” He also enjoys playing with Babs, his Parson Russell Terrier friend when he’s not busy running the kennel. Charmin’s Training Routine

Physical & Emotional Conditioning • Use of a dog treadmill while on the road at shows (to ensure his coat stays clean while he exercises) • Like all athletes, Charmin and Margery focus on confidence and positive energy • Bonding with Margery to stay focused in the ring • Liver cooked with garlic to get his full attention in the ring

Beauty Regimen • Hand-plucking the coat on a weekly basis • Bathing and blow drying to perfection
