GERMAN LANGUAGE COURSES a) Crash Course Intensive four -week German course before the lecture periods, daily classes 80 teaching units / no fee for exchange students

All courses are optional and b) Semester Afternoon Course taught on all CEFR levels (A1 – Classes four afternoons per week during the lecture period C1) 120 teaching units / fee: 100 €

c) DSH Course Jan – March / April – June / July – Sept / Oct – Dec, daily classes 240 teaching units / fee: 185 €

FINANCIAL MATTERS FOR EXCHANGE STUDENTS

Cost of living per month (in €) 600 – 700 EURO (minimum), better 850 EURO Fees There are no fees to be paid by exchange students but they have to have a valid health insurance. A health insurance can be taken out in Paderborn if the student does not bring one from his home country. Semester ticket Exchange students are allowed to get a semester ticket that allows free transport in the state of North Rhine- from and in the West to Paderborn and farther in the East. The fees for the ticket for one semester are about 120 €.

HELP & ORIENTATION Beginning with the four week Crash Course, continued during the Orientation program semester: guided tours, excursions, films, museums, parties etc.

Every exchange st udent will be teamed up with a student from Buddy program Paderborn already before arrival who will help with the first steps in Paderborn.
