Setting the stage for future development at 2444 Eglinton Avenue East The reference concept will include the City and CreateTO’s design and program objectives for the site. These objectives will be informed by feedback from the community and include: - Development that responds to the surrounding context including residential uses, infrastructure and transportation facilities. - Access to the development that is through safe, comfortable, attractive and vibrant streets and walkways. Service driveways should be located away from main pedestrian entries. - Outdoor amenity spaces with good sunlight and a variety of programing opportunities. - Encouraging the provision of community space, located in areas where there is access to outdoor amenity and sunlight. - Building design that promotes activity on all streets and open spaces. - Buildings that have a range of unit types to support different household sizes.
