Motion No. 1 (250)/2016-M, notice given of by Senator Mian Muhammad Ateeq Sheikh regarding the need to boost up efforts to convince the Member States of Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) to get Membership for Pakistan in that group. Adj. Motion No. 6 (250)/2016-M, notice given of by Senator Taj Haider to discuss the reports that Pakistan may face food shortage in near future. Adj. Motion No. 7,8,9,11,12,14 and 17 (250)/2016-M, notices given of by Senators Sassui Palijo, Col. 6. SENATOR PROFESSOR SAJID MIR, Chairman, Standing Committee on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, to present report of the Committee on budgetary allocations and its utilization by the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan for the financial year 2015-16.

SPECIAL REPORT OF THE STANDING COMMITTEE - PRESENTATION OF: (Under Rule 193)

7. SENATOR MUHAMMAD DAUD KHAN ACHAKZAI, ADVOCATE, Chairman, Standing Committee on Communications, to present special report of the Committee for the period from June, 2015 till date.

MOTIONS [Under Rule 194(1)]

8. SENATOR SHAHI SYED, Chairman, Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunications, to move under sub-rule (1) of rule 194 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012, that the period for presentation of report of the Committee on the Bill to make provisions for prevention of electronic crimes [The Prevention of Electronic Crimes Bill, 2016], may be extended till 26th July, 2016, as more time is required to the Committee to finalize its report.

9. SENATOR NASREEN JALIL, Chairperson, Functional Committee on Human Rights, to move under sub-rule (1) of rule 194 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012, that the period for presentation of report of the Committee on the subject matter of non-settlement of long standing issue of peasants of Okara farms moved on 19th May, 2016 referred to Functional Committee for consideration and report may be extended for a further period of thirty working days with effect from 19th July, 2016, due to the reason that the matter is still under consideration of the Committee, therefore more time is needed.

LEGISLATIVE BUSINESS

10. ENGR. , Minister for Commerce, to move that the Bill to provide for the re-organization of the State life Insurance Corporation into a public limited company [The State Life Insurance Corporation (Re-organization and Conversion) Bill, 2016], as passed by the National Assembly, be taken into consideration.

11. ENGR. KHURRAM DASTGIR KHAN, Minister for Commerce, to move that the Bill to provide for the re-organization of the State life Insurance Corporation into a public limited company [The State Life Insurance Corporation (Re-organization and Conversion) Bill, 2016], be passed.

12. MINISTER-IN-CHARGE CABINET SECRETARIAT, to move that the Bill further to amend the Special Economic Zones Act, 2012 [The Special Economic Zones (Amendment) Bill, 2016], as passed by the National Assembly, be taken into consideration.

13. MINISTER-IN-CHARGE CABINET SECRETARIAT, to move that the Bill further to amend the Special Economic Zones Act, 2012 [The Special Economic Zones (Amendment) Bill, 2016] be passed.

14. KHAWAJA MUHAMMAD ASIF, Minister for Water and Power, to move that the Bill to amend the Private Power and Infrastructure Board Act, 2012 [The Private Power and Infrastructure Board (Amendment) Bill, 2016], as reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once.
