Throughout the week, Rats were instructed in the ways of VMI and trained to push their personal limits. Many of the training days began at 5:30 in the morning and did not end until 11:00 RM. The following pictures arc some of the images of Matriculation Week, the beginning of a long four years at the Virginia Military Institute. Upperclassmen look on as a new Ftat signs the historic VMI Matriculation Book. Many historic flKurcs including George C.
