Code of Korea Model United Nations 2021

The standard of KMUN 2021 is the “” attire, which is “a neat, conventional style,” looking sharp and well-dressed but also being comfortable. Informal, flashy attire and school will not be accepted. Delegates not in proper attire will be prohibited from entering the committee chamber. Remember that you are an ambassador of your country, sent as a diplomat to an international organization of great importance, and your attire should portray “professionalism and modesty.”

Note: 1. Note that wearing articles of from your school (ex. dress or ) is acceptable, as long as the clothes do not clearly identify the school. ​ ​

2. Having an online conference requires the same formality an offline conference has. Delegates should wear adequate attire within the and bottom.

Male Participants may wear:

Alternative Dress Code Alternatively, you may wear traditional attire of the country you are representing, as long as that attire fulfills the following conditions: 1. Respectful. The attire should be conservative and respectful. It should not be more revealing than regular Western business attire. 2. Appropriate. The attire should be something that cannot be regularly worn in the country you are representing. It should not be a “festival” or “party” attire for special occasions. Traditional dress is only permitted for delegates in whose native countries “professional business dress” includes traditional cultural dress.
