Summer with a Groove! a week long dance intensive a week long dance intensive Ricky Maalouf Jose Soto Started dancing at age 19 for ASU Hip Hop Coalition and has since gone from member to Jose Soto started dancing at the age of 17 at Maryvale High School. He trained under Miss Elizabeth choreographer. Spent two years on the WNBA Phoenix Mercury Hip Hop Squad as well as other Roper in ballet. Jose has dance with Center Dance Ensemble, Epik Dance Company and WNBA Mercury performance groups around the valley. He has danced with recording artist Jasmine Hormez, who Hip Hop Squad, Scandalesque Production and Phoenix Contemporary Dance Company and Scorpius opened for Omarion, and danced for the professional dance company Automatic Response who was Dance Theatre. He has taught many master classes and set choreography around the valley and Tucson featured on Americas Best Dance Crew, opening for Fergie and My Chemical Romance, and who and Omaha, Nebraska, and has perform in Los Angeles, California and Las Vegas, Nevada. Right now worked with Dillards, LRG, and Kiss FM amongst others. Some of his students have been showcased on he teaches at Dynamic Motion Dance Academy, Scottsdale School of Ballet and Club Dance and is the Disney’s and Americas Got Talent, while he has worked with members of ABDC’s season 7 creator of DYBOS (Dance Your Butt Sunday) an open class for the community. Jose is also a faculty champions Elektrolytes. Has won numerous scholarships including Monsters of Hip Hop, Millennium, member with One Rhythm Dance Convention. IDA, Hollywood Vibe, Muse, Scene Interactive and was a Monsters of Hip Hop and Hollywood Vibe finalist. Choreography has been showcased and seen at LA Choreographers Carnival, President Obama’s Arizona State Commencement, MTV Sweet Sixteen, in numerous independent music videos, Jr Miss AZ pageant, UDA, Phoenix Suns and Mercury, high schools and has won many competition awards at a national level. He has a true passion for teaching and believes in a high-energy class, making his students work hard while completely enjoying the class experience. Angel Castro Angel ‘Halo’ Castro started his career in the arts at a young age in acting and musical theater. It wasn’t until his NicoLE L. Olson senior year in high school, at the age of 18, when he started dancing. His training started at the South Mountain High School dance magnet. Upon graduating in 2008, he auditioned and was accepted into the ASU School of Nicole started her training in ballet and classical jazz at Milwaukee Ballet School. After graduating with Dance where he graduated with a BFA in Dance. Nicole has Jessica Mumford, and Carley Conder. performed in Arizona with the Phoenix Opera, Movement Source Dance Co., Dulce Dance, Nearly Angel has danced professionally with many Arizona companies which include Scorpius Dance Theatre. Currently, she is the Associate Director/Principal Dancer of currently dances with EPIK Dance Company, WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury Hip Hop Squad, NBA’s Phoenix Suns Scorpius Dance Theatre. Ms. Olson has shown her choreography in such venues as the Kennedy Center Solar Squad, and is the founder/artistic director and choreographer of Halo Movement Collective which is now (DC), Herberger Theatre (Phoenix), TBA/Ten Tiny Dances Festival (Portland, OR) and Scottsdale Center in its third season. Angel has performed in Los Angeles, California, Las Vegas, Nevada, Cedar City, Utah and is for the Arts (Scottsdale). She has received an Arizona Award in Choreography for Nearly Naked Theatre’s currently on tour with Celebrity Dance Competitions. He has taught many master classes and choreographed “The Who’s Tommy” and a nomination for East Valley Children’s Theatre’s “The Wiz” and N2T’s “Evil around the valley. His choreography has been performed on many stages including CONDER/dance’s Breaking Dead, The Musical”. Nicole continues her choreography for children’s and professional venues Ground Festival, Scorpius Dance Theatre’s Kick A Festival, NBA Phoenix Suns Solar Squad, NBA Phoenix Suns Dancers, EPIK Dance Company’s Simply EPIK, EPIK Effect, and Common Ground, ARTELPHX, Phoenix ComicCon, throughout the Phoenix area. Along with her choreography and performance work, she is Director of Halo Movement Collective’s evening length production of Underland: White Nightmare and most recently Dance at the Metropolitan Arts Institute in Phoenix, and teaches summer intensives at Ballet AZ, Yen Li Grace Gallagher Dance’s 40 Love Letters. His work has been recognized by JAVA magazine as “At the Forefront School of Ballet, AZ School of Classical Ballet, and Phoenix Theatre. of Contemporary Dance in Phoenix”, and has received a Nomination for Phoenix Mayor’s Arts Award. He was named one of Phoenix’s 100 Creatives of 2015 by the Phoenix New Times. Angel is also currently a finalist for the Phoenix New Times Big Brain Awards. He is currently working on his third evening length production with Halo Movement Collective set to premiere in late November this year.

She later moved to Arizona to study dance at Arizona State University, where she trained as both a modern and hip-hop dancer. She spent two years on the ASU hip-hop coalition, and later joined EPIK Dance Company. Grace has also lived in New York City, where she interned at Broadway Dance Center. After her time on the east coast, she decided to try out the LA scene. She was accepted into the Edge Performing Arts Center's Scholarship Program. Since graduating the program, she was hired by Edge to start their first ever kids program. In addition to teaching, Grace has also worked on various projects with choreographers including Mandy Moore, Jason Myhre, Joelle Martinec, Nico O'Connor, Chris Dupre', Dante7, Sabrina Phillip, Joaquin Escamilla, Yusuf Nasir, and Lisa Eaton. Grace is currently a second year in the graduate program at Arizona State University. Grace premiered her first show, CONSequence, at the MonOrchid Gallery in Phoenix this past May. Her work has also been recently shown at Artel PHX, Phoenix Center for the Art’s Beta Festival, and Studio 3D for Halo Movement Collective’s 2nd showing of “Underland: White Nightmare”, and Breaking Ground Dance Festival. Grace looks forward to the premiere of her second evening length work, “40 Love Letters” which will debut April 3 at the MonOrchid, North Gallery. Bosco BOSCO has performed with Missy Elliott, P!nk, 50 Cent, Fergie, Tyra Banks, Kelly Rowland, Timbaland, Lloyd, Green Day, Nelly Furtado, Ashley Tisdale, Too $hort, Daddy Yankee and Corbin Bleu. He has done ads for iPod, the X Games, Qualcomm, American Idol and Playstation. He has performed on the MTV Movie Awards, the Miss Universe Pageant, So You Think You Can Dance, Shake It Up, America’s Next Top Model, The Voice and the American Music Awards. You have seen him on the big screen performing in the movies Dance Flick, the Seat Filler and You Got Served. His choreography has been used by Tyra Banks, Katt Williams, Kelly Rowland, Damon Wayans, Corbin Bleu and also on the Mo’Nique Show. He has had the privilege of teaching at over 150 different schools around the world and has toured the USA, Australia, Puerto Rico, Japan, Mexico, China, Singapore and Italy.
