The tour will consist of watching practices and attending coaching clinics at some of the following colleges: . UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA . UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA . ST MARY’S COLLEGE . UNIVERSITY OF LAS VEGAS . DUKE UNIVERSITY . WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY . UCLA . ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY Coaches will have the opportunity to visit each campus, watch men’s and women’s practices, attend coaching clinics to learn the latest training techniques and also have the opportunity to have a Question and Answer session with the basketball coaching staff. The tour group will also conduct sessions called “Time Outs” in which we will share ideas and experiences within the group. Key Note speakers will be invited to attend these sessions. Also as part of the tour we will look to attend high school practices, NBA/College pre-season games and much more. So if you want to further develop your coaching ability, learn the latest trends and tactics from the NCAA or are just a fan of the game, come be a part of the 2012 USA Coaches Development Tour and meet some of the great coaches in College Basketball including Mike Krzyzewski, Roy Williams, Seth Greenburg, Randy Bennett and Ben Howland. He has a thorough knowledge of basketball having played college basketball in the United States for four years and also spending two years at the Sydney Kings in the National Basketball League before his career was cut short due to a back injury. David’s experience enables him to organise all aspects of travel, including competition which includes games/tournaments, sanctioning with governing bodies, flights, accommodation, transport, and all sightseeing opportunities. Coach Roy Williams is winner of 2 NCAA championships and has a winning record of 614-155 in 22 seasons as head coach of the Tar heels with a record 18 NCAA final 4 appearances. The Coaches Tour will attend two full UNC practices, attend Q/A sessions with UNC coaching staff and attend a coaching clinic that will cover such areas as Strength and Conditioning, Point Zone Defence, Shooting drills, Fast break drills and Defensive Stations. VIRGINIA TECH In his eighth season at Virginia Tech, Seth Greenberg has set the Hokies onto a course of winning and competing at the highest level. Since joining the Hokies, Greenberg has established himself as not only a builder of programs, but as a coach who has an eye on the ultimate goal.Greenberg has a career record of 367-276 in 21 seasons as a collegiate head coach and a 154-106 record in his eight seasons at Virginia Tech. Since coming to Blacksburg, Greenberg’s Hokies have three wins over No. 1 ranked teams, including, most recently, a 64-60 vicory over top-ranked Duke on Feb.
