Huskers Announce 2010 Coaching Staff Head Coach John Walker has announced new additions to the Husker coaching staff, headlined by the hirings of full-time assistant coaches Dan Bassett and Rebecca Sanow (formerly Hornbacher). Bassett began his role with the Huskers last month, while Sanow will be on board in January 2011 following the birth of her second child. A native of Ralston, Neb., Sanow graduated from Nebraska with a psychology degree in 1997 and earned her John master’s degree in sport management from Baylor in 2000. She is the daughter of Bill Hornbacher, who was a two-year letterwinner for the Husker football team (1968-69).
