No.CEE/5500/2017/KEAM-2018/TA1 Government of Kerala Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram - 695 001 NOTIFICATION KEAM-2018 CENTRALISED ALLOTMENT PROCESS FOR PROFESSIONAL DEGREE COURSES ONLINE OPTIONS INVITED The activities related to the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) to Professional Degree Courses for the year 2018-19 will commence on 23.06.2018 (Saturday). In this phase, online options are invited for Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Medical & Allied courses. Candidates included in the rank lists prepared and published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations for Engineering/Architecture/Pharmacy/Ayurveda/ Medical & Allied courses – 2018 can register their options through the Website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 23.06.2018 to 29.06.2018, 10 am. Candidates who do not register their options within the stipulated time will not be considered for allotment under any circumstances. The “Facilitation Centres” [FC] having internet facility, will be functioning throughout the State during this period for providing necessary help to the candidates for registration of options. The details of such centers are available on the website, www.cee.kerala.gov.in The schedule for the first phase of allotment is given below: 23.06.2018 Opening of the website facility for online option registration 27.06.2018 Trial Allotment 29.06.2018, 10 am Closure of online option registration facility. 30.06.2018, 8 pm First Phase Allotment Publication Candidates who get allotment shall have to remit the fee shown in the allotment memo at any of the Head/Sub Post Offices in Kerala or by way of online payment. 01.07.2018 to 05.07.2018, 3 pm Those candidates who do not remit the fee on or before the date prescribed for the same will lose their allotment as well as all the existing options in the stream to which the allotment belongs. The options once lost will not be available in the subsequent phases. Candidates allotted to MBBS/BDS courses shall have to join the allotted college after the first phase allotment. Candidates allotted to courses other than MBBS/BDS need not join the colleges after the first allotment. 06.07.2018 to Candidates allotted to MBBS/BDS course and who do not join the college allotted 12.07.2018, 5 pm within the stipulated time will lose their allotment as well as all the existing options in the stream to which the allotment belongs. The options once lost will not be available in the subsequent phases. The schedule for further allotments will be notified in due course. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will be making allotments in the First Phase to the various Professional Degree courses such as Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Medical & Allied courses in the following Colleges: Sl.No. Colleges Annexure 1. Colleges Under Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies XVII Mandatory Reservation : Leaving the seats set apart for All India Quota, Government of India Nominees, Special reservation, Persons with Disabilities and Management Quota, the remaining Government seats for each course in Govt./Aided/Kerala Agricultural University/Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University/Kerala University of Fisheries & Ocean Studies Colleges will be distributed as per the mandatory reservation principle as contemplated in G.O. (P) 208/66/Edn. Dated 2.5.1966, G.O. (Ms) No. 95/08/SCSTDD Dated 06.10.2008, G.O. (Ms) No. 10/2014/BCDD Dated 23.05.2014 and as modified from time to time. The percentage break-up of seats as per mandatory reservation is as follows: (A) State Merit (SM) - 60% (B) Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) - 30% a. Ezhava (EZ) - 9% b. Muslim (MU) - 8% c. Other Backward Hindu (BH) - 3% d. Latin Catholic and Anglo Indian (LA) - 3% e. Dheevara and related communities (DV) - 2% f. Viswakarma and related communities (VK) - 2% g. Kusavan and related communities (KN) - 1% h. Other Backward Christian (BX) - 1% i. Kudumbi (KU) - 1% (C) Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes - 10% a. Scheduled Castes (SC) - 8% b. Scheduled Tribes (ST) - 2% Note: 1) As per GO(Ms) No. 46/2015/SCSTDD dated: 23.06.2015, the reservation pattern in Govt. Medical College, Palakkad (Institute of Integrated Medical Sciences, Palakkad) will be as follows: Scheduled Caste - 70%, Scheduled Tribe - 2%, General Merit – 13% and All India Quota- 15%. 2) As per GO(Rt.)No. 1621/2017/H&FWD dated 08.06.2017, The reservation pattern in Government Medical College, Kollam will be as follows: State Quota-50%, Wards of Insured Persons under Employees State Insurance Corporation-35% (Not allotted by CEE), All India Quota-15%. The existing reservation policy in Government/Aided Colleges will be continued. In addition, the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will make allotment to the seats available for allotment by in Govt. Controlled Self Financing/University Controlled Self Financing/Private Self Financing Colleges. Note: (1) In the case of Self-financing Engineering Colleges under Government control, 45% of the seats under Management quota will be allotted by the CEE in addition to the 50% Govt. seats. (2) In the case of Self-financing Engineering Colleges under CAPE, 35% of the seats under Management quota will be allotted by the CEE in addition to the 60% Govt. seats. (3) In the case of Self-financing Engineering College under Centre for Professional and Advanced Studies (University College of Engineering, Muttom, Thodupuzha), 95% of the seats are available for allotment by the CEE as Government seats. (4) In the case of Self-financing Engineering College under Calicut University (Calicut University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Tenhipalam, Malappuram), 100% seats are available for allotment by the CEE as Government seats. (5) The CEE will allot only 35% of the seats under Management quota in addition to the 50% Govt. seats, in the case of Sree Chithira Thirunal College of Engineering, Pappanamcode, Thiruvananthapuram. 2 (6) Separate notifications have been issued in the case of Private Self Financing Engineering/Architecture Colleges for the allotment to the Community/Registered Society/Registered Trust quota seats. Those students who seek admission under Community/Registered Society/Registered Trust quota seats also shall have to submit online options to the desired courses/colleges along with other students in this phase itself. (7) Candidates seeking admission under Minority Quota seats in the Private Self Financing Medical/Dental Colleges having Minority status shall have to submit Online Options to the desired colleges along with other students in this phase itself. Those who get allotment should remit up to Rs.50,000/- p.a. + Rs.10,000/- in favour of CEE, Trivandrum Special Fee at any of the Head/Sub Post Offices in up to Rs.25000/- p.a. Kerala or by way of online payment. The For Naval Architecture and Ship Building Course balance fee has to be remitted in the colleges concerned at the time of 25% Others admission. * 25% Lower Income Tuition Fee Rs.85,000/- p.a. 2. The varied fee structure applicable to the - Group + different courses in the Private Self Rs.85,000/- p.a. Financing colleges under KSFECMA is Special Fee- Rs.50,000/- p.a. available in the website. Scholarship 50% Govt. Seats Colleges under Kerala Catholic Engineering Management will set apart a College Managements Association(KCECMA) sum of Rs. 3 lakhs for a batch Rs.75,000/- p.a. of 60 students to be provided Note: Those who get allotment should remit + as scholarship in the form of Rs.10,000/- in favour of CEE, Trivandrum at Rs.1,00,000/- as Tuition Fee Waiver to students any of the Head/Sub Post Offices in Kerala or Refundable interest by way of online payment.
