CENTENARY undertakes ‘cutting edge’ research into the biology of normal and diseased cells, with the goal of improving our understanding of what causes disease and to translate these discoveries into clinical practice.

Applications are invited from motivated individuals who wish to contribute to an exciting research programme involving translational research into the metabolic requirements of breast cancer.

Your main role will be to undertake research experiments for a fixed term, while participating in the activities of Centenary.

The successful applicant will have: § BSc (Hons) and/or Masters degree in molecular genetics, cancer biology or related areas; § Solid experience in cell and molecular biology including cell culture, and cancer models; § Ability to keep meticulous notes; § Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with an ability to liaise with a diverse range of people; § A strong team focus; and § A demonstrated commitment to Occupational Health and Safety.

Desirable: § Experience with drug screening approaches
