Tonight in Ballroom 20 is the Comic-Con Masquerade, the on-stage costume competition Friday Gallery! where our attendees show off their talents and imagination in an evening full of amazing creations, fun, and more than a few surprises. Our sponsor once again is HBO’s vampire series TRUE BLOOD. Note that the line for entry forms very early, but the capacity of the room is over 4,000. And, if all the seats are filled by the time you arrive, no worries, the show will be simulcast in the Sails Pavilion, Room 5AB, and 6A. Tickets which guarantee seating in the Ballroom 20 will be given out free to those in the Masquerade line beginning at 3:00 PM. The show starts at 8:30 PM, with audience doors opening at 7:45. Special trophies will be given to the most impressive entries, and a dozen companies and organizations are offering generous prizes of their own. Our Master of Ceremonies will once again be the very entertaining writer and artist Phil Foglio of Studio Foglio. In addition to the costume presentations, special movie previews and award winning Fan Films will be shown.
