SIGNIFICANT OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

OCTOBER 2017

1. NARCO MAYOR FALLS WITH FIVE (5) MILLION WORTH OF DRUGS, SHABU LAB EQUIPMENTS AND ARMS

The Municipal Mayor of Maasim, Sarangani Province was apprehended by PDEA XII during a hot pursuit, as he surrendered to Hon. Emmanuel “Manny” D. Pacquiao with the assistance of the League of Municipalities of Philippines– Sarangani Chapter and was turned– Confiscated evidence from the house of Mayor Jojo Lopez over to PDEA Director General Aaron N. Aquino at Pacman’s Mansion, Salvani Street, Brgy. City Heights, General Santos City at around 1:15PM of October 6, 2017.

Joint operatives of the PDEA RO XII under the supervision of Director Gil Cesario P. Castro, Joint Task Force–GenSan, 9th SAB PNP SAF, Philippine Coast Guard–General Santos, NICA XII, Military Intelligence Group 12–ISAFP, 27th Infantry Battalion and Maasim MPS conducted HIGH IMPACT OPERATION (HIO) through the implementation of search warrants against Mayor Aniceto Lopez at Belen Lopez Avenue/Lumasal Proper, IML Eco Park Office 1 and Office 2, Brgy. Lumasal, Maasim, Sarangani Province at around 6:00AM but was served represented by the suspect’s care taker, Edilberto Escobia, since the latter was not around during the implementation of the search warrants.

Arrested was Mayor ANICETO PARAS LOPEZ JR of Municipality of Maasim, Sarangani Province (High–Value Target/Leader of El Patron Drug Group), 55 years old, married and a resident of the said a ddress. The operation yielded more or less five (5) kilograms of suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride or “shabu” with an estimated market value of Five Million Pesos (Php 5,000,000.00), suspected shabu laboratory equipments and firearms.

Mayor Lopez is facing cases for violation of Sections 10, 11 and 12, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, RA 9516 and RA 10591.

2. TOUGH DRUG PERSONALITY ARRESTED IN A BUST–STING

A drug toughie was arrested by the elements of PDEA XII in cooperation with the Municipal Anti– Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) of Banga during a buy–bust operation conducted at the vicinity of Confiscated evidence from the Brgy. Liwanay, Banga, South Cotabato, October house of Mayor Jojo Lopez 12, 2017 at around 4:05 in the afternoon. Arrested was RAMIE PACINABAO y JORDA, 49 years old, male, married, farmer and a resident of Purok Rizal, Brgy. Cinco, Banga, South Cotabato. The operation yielded more or less 0.3 gram of suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride or “shabu” with an estimated value of One Thousand Five Hundred pesos (Php 1,500.00), one (1) Five Hundred peso bill marked money and one (1) cellular phone. In actual fact, Ramie Pacinabao was imprisoned twice for illegal gambling and selling of illegal drugs but was able to bail out of jail.

3. PDEA XII NAILS ANOTHER NARCO-BUSINESSMAN IN SOUTH COTABATO; ₱750,000 WORTH OF SHABU SEIZED

PDEA XII escalated the drug war with the arrest of a big–time businessman by its agents under the supervision of Director Gil Cesario P. Castro on October 14, 2017 on a pre– dawn HIGH IMPACT OPERATION (HIO) through (Top) Seized evidences from the house of Alvin the implementation of Valerio (Below) conduct of inventory search warrant against a narco– businessman at the vicinity of Block 2, Antipolo Subdivision, Koronadal South Cotabato against ALVIN KEITH VALERIO y DARE (High–Value Target), 40 years old, married, businessman and a resident of the said aforementioned address. Valerio is said to be a co–owner of Koronadal Sports Complex Cockpit and a drug lord financer. He is also connected to the El Patron Drug Group which operates in SOCSARGEN area.

The operation yielded more or less 150 grams of suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride or “shabu” with an estimated market value of Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand pesos (Php 750,000.00), one (1) digital weighing scale, firearms, live ammunitions and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Valerio is facing cases for violation of Sections 11 and 12 of RA 9165.

4. PDEA XII ACCOUNTED 2 MORE DRUGGIES IN KORONADAL

PDEA XII under the supervision of Director Gil Cesario P Castro, once again heeded the clamor of the community when its agents arrested two more drug personalities in a buy–bust operation conducted at the vicinity of Paredes St., Brgy., Zone 4, Koronadal, South Cotabato, 5:15 in the afternoon, October 17, Seized drug evidences from Alias Allan 2017. and Melandro Laspiñas

The subject of operation were ALEJANDRO TRAYA y SATO Alias ALLAN, 48 years old, married, watch–repairman and a resident of Crossing Maraya, Purok Paghidait, Barrio 6, Banga, South Cotabato and MELANDRO LASPIÑAS y GONZALES, 43 years old, male, married, jobless and a resident of Paredes St., Purok Aurora 2, Brgy. Zone 4, Koronadal, South Cotabato. Confiscated from the duo were MOL five (5) grams of suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride or “shabu” with an estimated market value of Twenty–Five Thousand pesos (Php 25,000.00). They are facing cases for violation of Sections 5, 11 and 12, Article II of Republic Act 9165.

5. SERIES OF PDEA XII OPERATIONS NETTED THREE DRUG OFFENDERS

As PDEA XII continue to fight against illegal drugs, three more drug offenders were apprehended by its agents on October 19, 2017 at around 5:20pm. Operatives conducted a buy-bust operation at the vicinity of Purok Masagana, Brgy. Blingkong, Lutayan, Sultan Kudarat. Arrested during the operation was EDDIE GINEZ y LORIAGA Alias EDDIE (Watchlisted), 47 years old, male, married, businessman and a resident of the aforementioned address.

Another operation was conducted by operatives of PDEA XII in cooperation with Pikit MPS and RPSB XII at Pikit, North Cotabato at around 6:45pm. Arrested were JINKY SULAIMAN y BELDIK, 30 years old, female, married, vendor and a resident of Kabacan, North Cotabato and HARON GESULGA y KIAO, 35 years old, male, common-law husband, construction worker and a resident of Purok Daisy, Brgy. Poblacion, Pikit, North Cotabato.

paraphernalia were confiscated from the possession and control of the suspects. Arrested suspects are now facing cases for violation of Sections 5, 11 and 12, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

6. 500 GRAMS OF MARIJUANA SEIZED BY PDEA XII

Another PDEA XII operation yielded 500 grams of marijuana on a bust sting at the vicinity of Sitio South Sea, Brgy. San Vicente, Banga, South Cotabato around 4:15 PM on October 25, 2017. The suspect was identified as JERSON RENDON y PACARDO Alias TIVAN (HVT), 31 years old, male, married, construction worker and a resident of the aforementioned address.

(Below) Seized dried marijuana leaves The operation seized MOL 500 grams of from Jerson Rendon marijuana dried leaves with an estimated market value of Fifteen Thousand Pesos (Php 15,000.00) and one (1) One Hundred pesos marked money. Alias Tivan is now facing cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

7. BARANGAY OFFICIAL OF KIAMBA ARRESTED IN PDEA XII SEARCH OPERATION

PDEA XII once again arrested a public official engaged in illegal drugs in a search operation conducted at Brgy. Kayupo, Kiamba, Sarangani Province on October 30, 2017; Php 18,500.00 worth of shabu seized. Arrested suspect was JOSE BAYLOSIS y APITAN (HVT), 34 years old, male, single, Barangay Kagawad and a resident of the aforementioned address.

A total of 3.7 grams of suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride or “shabu” with an estimated market value of Eighteen Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php 18,500.00) and one (1) matchbox case containing white crystalline substance were confiscated during the search operation.

Kagawad Baylosis is now facing case for violation of Section 11 (Possession of Illegal Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165. 8. SERIES OF PDEA XII BUST STINGS NETTED FOUR (4) DRUG OFFENDERS

As the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) under the guidance of Director General Aaron N Aquino heightens its anti–drug operations, PDEA XII arrests

four (4) more drug offenders in a series of buy–bust oper ation conducted on October 31, 2017; three (3) of which are drug surrenderers.

Around 11:15 AM, operatives of PDEA Regional Office XII conducted a buy–bust operation at the vicinity of Kalye Putik, Brgy. Poblacion, Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat which resulted to the arrest of MAMA TANTO BANGON y DALANDA

Seized dried drug evidences from Mama (Watchlisted/Drug Surrenderee), 29 Bangon and Juniz Gomonit years old, male, married, habal–habal driver and a resident of Brgy. Poblacion, Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat and JUNIZ GOMONIT y HERMANO, 27 years old, female, common-law wife, direct seller and a resident of Old Market, Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat.

Another operation was conducted at about 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the vicinity of Municipal Plaza, Brgy. Yangco, Banga, South Cotabato. The subject of operation was BERTING GOGO y BASILON Alias BERTING (Watchlisted/Drug Surrenderee), 21 years old, male, single and a resident of Sitio Sanblast, Bo. 1, Brgy. Liwanag, Banga, South Cotabato.

Conduct of inventory of drug evidences At about 6:40 in the evening, another confiscated from Alias Paksiw buy–bust operation was conducted at the vicinity of Sogod Lot 5, Brgy. Apopong, General Santos City. Arrested was PHELMAR ABING y MESIAS Alias PAKSIW (Watchlisted/Drug Surrenderee), 34 years old, male, married, jobless and a resident of the aforementioned address.

A total of MOL sixteen (16) grams of suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride or “shabu” with an estimated market value of Eighty Thousand Pesos (Php 80,000.00) , one (1) Five Hundred Peso Bill and four (4) Two Hundred Peso Bill were seized during the operations.

Arrested suspects are now facing cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
