Ed was nominated for a BAFTA craft award for break-through talent for his work on the fourth series of .

He also won the 2007 Prix Italia award for Best Original for his radio play, THE INCOMPLETE RECORDED WORKS OF A DEAD BODY.

Ed is currently under commission to the National Theatre and working on multiple projects for TV.
