Task Force Sendong – UP Padayon Disaster Response Team Organized by the University of the Philippines to provide strategic assistance to the Iligan City in the aftermath of the flashfloods caused by Tropical Storm Sendong.  Role in team included: o Data gathering and preliminary post-disaster analysis of the flood event to guide the Iligan City government on appropriate responses with regards to the disaster. o Co-authored report.

Oracle Enterprise Taxation Management (ETM) Tax management system currently used by tax agencies worldwide, such as the Dutch Tax Office in the Netherlands and several states in the , such as Ohio, Vermont and Kentucky.  J2EE-based application with Apache Tomcat as application server; implemented using Javascript, AJAX,J2SE and a combination of several Java-based technologies, such as Hibernate, JSP, JUnit testing tools, and custom-made scripting and configuration functionalities.  Role in team included: o Translating high-level design documentation to working code o Providing unit tests written using JUnit test cases o Bug-fixing, whether customer or internally raised o Writing documentation for bugs fixed. Includes description of bug, steps in resolving the issue, test cases and verification that issue was fixed o Other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the manager, such as training, support and assistance to other product development teams/groups

e-Nutrition Project (Content Management System and Activity Logger modules) Aweb-based information systemfor the Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI) developed by the Advanced Science and Technology Institute (ASTI); fundedby the Commission on Information and Communication Technology (CICT). Awarded 1st place in the APEC Digital Opportunity Center (ADOC) Competition, e-Government category, 2006  The system was developed and deployed in a Linux environment, implemented using J2EE and AJAX technologies with Apache Tomcat as application server, and MySQL as database back-end.  Role in team included: o Designing, coding, testing and documentation of functionalities/modules o Providing support and assistance, when necessary, during testing and implementation by clients o Other ad hoc tasks assigned by the manager
