MILTON GENERAL INFORMATION Milton is a town located in Southern , 40km west of Toronto. On the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, it is one of the fastest growing municipalities in . Since opening the Mattamy National Cycling Centre for the 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games, Milton became the home of Canadian Cycling.

The Mattamy National Cycling Centre is the only velodrome of its kind in Canada, and only the second in North America that meets top international standards. The multi-purpose high performance sports facility serves as both a community recreation facility and a venue for provincial, national and international events such as the Canadian Track Championships and the Milton International Challenge (UCI C1).

HOW TO GET TO THE VENUE Nearest International airport: Toronto Pearson International Airport - YYZ (Official Airport) Approximately 45 km (between 30 and 55 minutes by car, depending on traffic)

Transportation between venue and hotels: A shuttle service will be provided between the velodrome and official hotels, only for teams booking the CSE accommodation and transport package. The service will be available starting in the morning of the first official day of training, Tuesday January 28.

TRAINING SESSIONS Official Training at the Velodrome The track will be available for official training on Tuesday January 28 and Wednesday January 29. Training schedules will be available closer to the competition.

Training prior to the start of Official Training The Mattamy National Cycling Centre will not be able to accommodate teams arriving early and who wish to train on the track prior to Tuesday January 28. Due to the velodrome hosting the final round of the TISSOT UCI World Cup, the track will be closed on Monday, January 27. There will be no track time available for training and teams will not have access to the infield due to the event set up and transition.

ACCREDITATION CENTRE Permanence – Accreditation centre Accreditations will be available at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre upon arrival for the first time as per official team lists only.

All accreditations must be picked up and distributed before further access to the venue is allowed and all payments will need to be settled before accreditations are released. All team members will need accreditations to access the venue and track centre.

STORAGE On-site storage will be accessible from mid-afternoon (2:00pm) on Monday January 27 to midnight (11:59pm) on Sunday February 2. No prior access to storage will be available due to the TISSOT UCI Track World Cup event occurring. We ask that teams not travelling with the use of CSE contact [email protected] to discuss potential load-in times.

A 100$ CAD deposit will have to be made in cash in exchange for the key to access storage. The deposit will be returned at the end of the event, only if the key is returned.

PARKING On-site parking is limited. Teams will receive one (1) team vehicle parking pass. The parking pass will have to be presented to access the parking and must be visible at all time in the parked vehicle. Parking passes will have to be picked up at the Permanence – Accreditation Centre.

Only the National Teams that have paid the registration fee within the deadline will receive their accreditation passes and be able to take part in the competition. Entry fees are handled by the Organising Committee. An invoice will be sent to all National Federations registered shortly. The registration fee is € 100.00 per accredited person. Wire payments should reference the invoice number. Also, a confirmation of payment should be e-mailed to Cycling Canada once initiated. Payments should be executed by Friday January 24, 2020.
