FOX SPORTS 1 WELCOMES HILL TO FOX SPORTS LIVE & FOX FOOTBALL DAILY Versatile Broadcaster Contributing in Multiple Roles New York -- FOX Sports 1 adds another veteran sports broadcaster to its depth charts with the hiring of Mike Hill for FOX SPORTS LIVE and FOX FOOTBALL DAILY. Hill (@itsmikehill) immediately takes on multiple roles, providing news updates and serving as guest host for FOX SPORTS LIVE, the flagship news, opinion and highlights program airing nightly on FOX Sports 1, America’s new sports network launching Aug. 17. Hill also joins FOX FOOTBALL DAILY, an extension of FOX NFL SUNDAY, the most-watched NFL pregame show for 19 straight years, and will contribute to the network’s coverage of college basketball. "I am extremely happy and honored to once again be a part of the Fox Sports family,” Hill said. “Very few things are as much fun for me as presenting sports outside of the box, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to do that with FOX Sports 1.” “Adding a sportscaster with Mike Hill’s versatility and proficiency is an enormous plus for FOX Sports 1,” said FOX Sports EVP/Coordinating Studio Producer Scott Ackerson. “His wide- ranging experience across a broad spectrum of formats enables him to jump right in and hit the ground running with what we think is an informative, entertaining and down-to-earth group.” Hill joins a FOX SPORTS LIVE cast that includes primary host Charissa Thompson, tennis legend Andy Roddick, NBA great Gary Payton and former NFL stars Donovan McNabb and Emphraim Salaam, in addition to anchors Jay Onrait and Dan O’Toole, who for eight years formed a popular anchor team for TSN’s SportsCentre . Don Bell and Ryan Field handle breaking news and updates throughout the day, with contributions from correspondents Molly McGrath and Julie Stewart-Binks. Hill also will contribute to FOX FOOTBALL DAILY, hosted by NFL on FOX personalities that include Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Jay Glazer, Gus Johnson, Erin Andrews and Mike Pereira. The program provides a daily dose of news, interviews and commentary from the pro and collegiate football worlds. Hill left ESPN in June after nine years with the network that included hosting roles on SportsCenter, ESPNews, NBA Tonight, NFL Live, Baseball Tonight and ESPN First Take . He also co-hosted the ESPN Radio program, Hill and Schlereth, with Mark Schlereth, among others. Prior to joining ESPN in 2004, Hill served as a sports anchor for FOX Sports Net (FSN) in New York, in addition to similar roles at local television affiliates in Dallas, Nashville, Tenn., and Fresno, Calif. While in Nashville, he earned two Emmy Awards for his in-depth coverage of high school football, as well as the “Best Sportscaster” award from The Tennessean for his feature on “people who don’t necessarily love sports.” - more - HILL JOINS FOX SPORTS 1 – Page 2 Hill owns a production company that offers multi-media production in television, Internet, radio and print. An avid pop culture fan, Hill played a leading role in the off-Broadway production of Miss Evers' Boys, as well as scoring various cameo appearances in network television and independent films.
