Overview Challenge yourself to climb the 5 most famous peaks in the UK! The Five Peaks challenge is brand new to the student fundraising world, and developed exclusively by Endeavours. This challenge offers a truly rewarding adventure within the UK, with participants taking on the peaks of Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike & Helvellyn (England), along with Snowdon & Pen-Y-Fan (Wales) over three days. Covering a total distance of 30 miles and 4200m in ascent, participants can expect majestic landscapes, breathtaking views and beautiful scenery.

Trip duration Difficulty 4 days, including 3 days trekking 3/5 - Moderate! This trek involves long and challenging days. You will need to Accommodation be in relatively good physical shape. Participants will be accommodated in hostel accomodation throughout Fundraising Target Registration Fee £825 £95 payable upon sign up Over 50% to charity

TRIP ITINERARY

Day 1 10am pick up from Manchester Piccadilly for transfer to Fort William (other pick-up options may be available) Late afternoon/early evening check in to accommodation followed by an equipment check and briefing. The evening will then be free for you to relax and prepare for the challenge ahead.

Day 2 6:30am check out of accommodation and early breakfast. 7am transfer to Ben Nevis Inn for the start of the challenge. Average time on Ben Nevis is approximately 5 ½ hours. 1pm depart from the Ben Nevis Visitor Centre heading for the Lake District. During the journey we will take a break at a service station. 6pm arrive at overnight accommodation

Day 3 7am start ascent of Scafell Pike. Average time on Scafell Pike is approximately 4 hours. 12pm Lunch 1pm start ascent of Helvellyn. Average time on Helvellyn is approximately 4 hours 6pm Set off for North Wales Overnight accommodation at local hostel Breakfast, Included Day 4 Night at a Hostel Included 7am start to begin ascent of Snowdon. The average time on Snowdon is about 4 ½ hours. 12pm transfer to Pen-Y-Fan 2pm begin ascent of Pen-Y-Fan.
