RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders ran into a hot goaltender for the second night in a row, only managing a pair of goals on 40 shots at the Regina Pats’ Daniel Wapple, eventually falling by a final score of 4-2. The Pats opened the scoring just over a minute into the game before 19-year-defenceman Sawyer Lange responded with a powerplay marker. Regina scored a pair in the second period, but 17-year-old for- ward Reid Gardiner cut the lead in half with another man-advantage marker. The Pats regained their 2- margin midway through the final frame and clung on for the win. 20-year-old goaltender Cole Cheveldave stopped 23 of 27 shots in a losing cause.

VS THE BRONCOS: The Raiders have taken 3 points in 4 games against their division rivals from Swift Current this season, posting a 1-2- 1-0 record, including a 1-0 victory the last time the Broncos visited the Art Hauser Centre on November 20th. 16-year-old centre Matteo Gennaro leads the Green and Gold with 2 goals and 3 points versus Swift Current this season, while Cole Cheveldave has recorded all four decisions, with a 3.94 goals against average, .882 save percentage and one shutout.

MILESTONES: 19-year-old defenceman Sawyer Lange recorded his 50th career assists last night and is34 games from 175, while 19-year- old forward Chance Braid will reach that mark tonight. 18-year-old defenceman Josh Morrissey one goal shy of his previous season high of 15. 19-year-old winger Dakota Conroy is one goal from 50 in his career. 17-year-old forward Reid Gardiner will reach the 100 game plateau in 3 games.
