Catalog # / Size: 920501 / 100 µl 920502 / 500 µl Previously: Covance Catalog# MMS-286R Clone: C952-12E Isotype: Mouse IgG2b Immunogen: The Hoxc-8 antibody was generated against a recombinant containing the first exon of mouse Hoxc-8. Reactivity: Mouse, Chicken Preparation: Ascites Concentration: The concentration is not quantified as this product is sold as undiluted crude mouse ascites fluid. The concentration might vary from lot-to-lot and an estimated concentration would be 1-3 mg/ml. Storage: Store at -20°C. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing Mouse embryonic spinal cord stained with anti-Hox C clone C952-12E. the antibody. For long-term storage, keep the antibody at -80°C. Applications: Applications: IHC, WB IF - Reported in the literature Recommended Usage: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunohistochemical staining. The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. • WB: 1:1,000* • IHC: 1:35,000 Application Notes: This antibody is effective in immunoblotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and whole mount staining. *Predicted MW = 28 kD The antibody has been used in whole mount staining procedures. This antibody can be used to study the development and control of transcription. Application References: 1. Tiret L, Le Mouellic H, Maury M, Brulet P. Description: HOXC8, also known as Homebox Protein Hox-C8, belongs to the highly conserved family of transcription factors that play a key role in morphogenesis in all multicellular organisms, which also provide cells with specific positional identities on the anterior-posterior axis. The regulatory role of HOXC8 in cartilage differentiation suggests that it may be involved in human chondrodysplasias or other cartilage disorders. HOXC8 also regulates skeletal development. By facilitating cell migration and invasion, HOXC8 plays an important role in cancer development. Other Names: HOX3; HOX3A; Hox-3.1, Homeobox protein Hox-C8, homeo box C8, homeobox protein M31, homeobox protein Hox-3.1 Related Products:Product Clone Application Purified anti-FOX3 (NeuN) 1B7 IHC, WB, ICC Anti-Prox1 Poly19252 IHC, IF, WB Purified anti-Pax-2 Poly19010 IHC, WB, IP Purified anti-Pax-6 Poly19013 WB, IHC, IF For research use only.
