Veritas Classical Schools has a standardize . The ultimate goal with our dress code is modesty and neatness. Since the time spent in class is limited, we would ask that dress code not become an issue. If you arrive at Veritas dressed immodestly or inappropriately, your parent will be called to bring you appropriate clothes to school. Please adhere and sign the requirements stated below.

SHIRTS • Any color solid or striped classic polo (long or short sleeve). • Solid, striped or plaid oxford and are allowed for boys and girls. This is not any kind of for girls but only a traditional oxford or 100% cotton cloth shirt. • Girls: if you wear a underneath your polo or blouse, the polo needs to be buttoned so that you are modest in your appearance. NO see through blouses. • Shirts may not be worn like a but must be buttoned up. • Flannel may be worn but must not be old and faded. PANTS/CAPRIS, , , , : • modest, traditional pants, knee length shorts or capris (solid color navy, khaki, black, gray, green, white or brown ONLY) Any color of is not acceptable for pants. Especially black! • or a traditional knee-length or longer , , or knee-length (solid color navy, khaki, black, gray, green, white or brown ONLY) Skirts are to be traditional skirts, not layered skirts or slit skirts, etc. • is acceptable ONLY for math and science classes. • Skin tight pants or jeans are not acceptable for girls or guys. • or jeggins are not acceptable as pants. If leggings are worn under a skirt, they must be solid and the skirt must be knee length. , , : • Jacket or worn over the polo or oxford shirt may be any color o You must have a or oxford shirt under your jacket or sweater. o Sweat shirts must have a polo worn underneath them. o No or to be worn in class. AND ACCESSORIES: • color and style is left to the parents’ discretion. PERSONAL APPEARANCE: • No for boys. Girls may wear earrings in their ears. • No nose rings or other piercings • No unusual hair color is acceptable. Only natural colored hair. • Boys hair should be cut neatly. • Students should arrive on campus clean and neat. Math and Science: • The dress code is the same as above except that the students may wear jeans, skirts, skorts or jumpers. The length of skirts and shorts is also knee length. Gym shorts or very short shorts are not permissible on Math Lab day. • Polo shirts are required. • Math Lab Day – Students can wear but girls cannot wear very short gym shorts. • Jeans that are frayed or have holes are not acceptable. Relax Dress: • Relax Dress is not a time to wear whatever you would like. All clothes that are worn during Relax Dress week must still abide by dress code guidelines. Girls may not wear dresses, shorts, and skirts that are shorter than knee length. Girls may not wear , short shorts, or tank tops.
