NOTIFICATION Railway Administration has decided to engage New Halt contractor at CHINCHURIA Halt in between Barabani – Sitarampur section over Asansol Division for sale of tickets to passengers. Sl. No. Name of Halt Station Location 1 CHINCHURIA In between Barabani & Sitarampur Application are invited in sealed cover super scribed Application for Halt contractor for sale of tickets at Chinchuria Halt . From reliable local person (Not from other area) for appointment of Halt contractor at the above mentioned station on a minimum remuneration of Rs. 500/- or as per guide line of Railway Board vide No. 99/TGIV/Halt/Policy dt. 24.06.2005 commission and incentive payable to the contractor on the base of No. ticket sold rather than the earning are as under:- Number of Ticket sold per day Commission per ticket 1 – 100 Rs. 1.25 101 – 200 Rs. 1.00 201 – 500 Rs. 0.50 501 – 1000 Rs. 0.25 1000 & above Rs. 0.10 1 MST Rs. 10.00 In addition to the commission paid as above incentive @ 25 paisa per ticket on incremental increase in the ticket sale with respect of the performance in the corresponding quarter of the previous year will also be paid to the Halt contractor. The application along with reievant documents in a sealed cover envelope may be dropped in the sealed box kept in the office of Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, Eastern Railway, Asansol (Commercial Section) , DRM Office ,E. Rly. Asansol during office hours from 01.04.2015 to 16.04.2015 upto 17 hrs. Application received after aforesaid date will not be entertained. The person to whom the contract would be awarded will have to deposit Security Money of Rs. 2000/- or more as decided by Railway Administration with Divl. Cashier , Eastern Railway, Asansol. The applicants should satisfy the following;- 1. The contractor should be at least 10 th standard pass having knowledge of English so as to read the name of station and the value of tickets. 2. The Halt contractor should be permanent resident of the place where the halt is situated. 3. The age of the Halt contractor should not be below 21 years of age and not above 55 years of age at the time of appointment. 4. The Halt contractor should produce a Medical Certificate in support of his/her physical fitness that he is free from any communicable disease. 5. The Halt contractor should produce a character certificate issued by DM/ADM/SDM/BDO/CO/Tehsildar that he/she bears good moral character. 6. The Halt contractor should produce the clearance certificate from the local police station that no criminal case is pending against him/her. 7. All Documents attached with the application (except Character certificate & Local Police clearance ) must be self attested. 8. The appointment of Halt contractor is purely contractual in nature and no facilities, viz. absorption in Railway Service, regularization of service, bonus, Railway pass, Medical facilities, etc. shall accrue to the Halt contractor. 9. The selection of the halt contractor will be done by the lottery, if more than one candidate is found eligible. 10. The antecedents of the applicants shall be verified before their appointment as Halt contractors.
