ST. DOMINIC PARISH ST. VINCENT DE PAUL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED The St. Dominic Parish St. Vincent de Paul Society, which serves ALL the people in our territory which includes most of Delhi, Sedamsville and Riverside, would like to recruit some new members. Since the need for help has increased over the last decade, so have the calls to the St. Dominic Parish St. Vincent de Paul hotline for food, furniture and clothing, as well as utility and rent assistance. Because of the increased need and calls, we need more members in our St. Vincent de Paul conference who are capable of and willing to make house calls. This is both a challenging and a rewarding opportunity for the volunteers. Volunteers need to be able to drive and should have at least limited computer skills. Since most of the St. Vincent de Paul work is done during the day, this is a great opportunity for a retired person who wants to remain active. LENTEN LECTURE SERIES “RENEWING OUR DISCIPLESHIP”

Reverend Jim Schutte will be coming to St. Dominic this Wednesday, March 22. Fr Jim Schutte has been a priest of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati for 37 years. He has been pastor of St. Leo the Great Church in North Fairmont for 9 years. He obtained his Master’s degree in Scripture from the Athenaeum of Ohio and Master’s degree in Applied Spirituality from the University of San Francisco. He is a spiritual director and has given parish talks and missions. Fr. Jim is enjoying celebrating the Lord’s work and presence at St. Leo’s as it is being renewed and reformed on the faith of Guatemalan immigrants and refugees from Burundi, Africa through the spiritual and corporal works of mercy.
