I also note that the LGBC is also proposing that homes in Hagley,namely South Rd,Western Rd,Newfield Rd( above numbers 24) and the Closes off will remain in the Furlong Ward of Clent. I strongly believe that that the homes listed immediately above in my second paragraph should also be moved into the Hagley Wards so that ALL homes with Hagley addresses are in Hagley Wards. COVID Enforcement Patrols Regular Enforcement Patrols Are Undertaken to Ensure Businesses Are Complying with Coronavirus Legislation
COVID Marshals • 25 COVID Marshals and 8 Park Marshals employed since November providing a hi-vis presence on the street. • Visiting all Wards but are particularly focusing on those with the highest infection rates. • Assisting with surge testing in Great Park and Frankley. • Providing advice to businesses on good practice and to citizens on the use of face coverings. • Eyes and ears for Enforcement Team providing valuable feedback on businesses who are not complying with the legislation so that enforcement work can be prioritised. • Large number of “free” face coverings are being distributed by the COVID Marshals on a daily basis. To date over 18,500 face coverings have been distributed. • Public interactions has now a last fallen considerably since the latest lockdown was introduced. (mid Jan-Feb) • Enclosed shopping centres found to have the highest level of non-compliance with regards to the wearing of face coverings. • Between the 16th Jan and 14th Feb the majority of face coverings (40% - 1,345) were distributed in the City Centre. • 446 masks were distributed by the Park COVID Marshals (13%). No matter what ever your results are I hope that you all enjoy this season’s volleyball. Last season saw the European Volleyball Federation (CEV) impose on us that all NVL Clubs follow the correct procedures for International Transfer of players. This effectively means that annually any player competing in the NVL whose Federation of Origin is not England would need to follow this procedure and pay the appropriate fee. We were successful in negotiating a phased implementation of this with it only applying to Super 8 teams last season. However this season Division 1 Clubs must also now follow this new procedure. -

Birmingham Moor Street As soon as we clear the platform we enter the 635 yard long Snow Hill Tunnel and climb at 1 in 45. While still in the tunnel, a side tunnel joined from our left hand side. This tunnel originated in the basement of the Bank of England building at the junction of Temple Row and St Philip’s Place, and was used by bullion trains that reversed from platform 1 at Snow Hill to the bank. Immediately after leaving the gloom of the tunnel, we enter the gloom of BIRMINGHAM SNOW HILL, opened on 5 October 1987 to replace the much grander GWR station that closed on 6 March 1972. It was unfortunate that, when the new station was built, it was decided to build a three storey car park on top of it and this has served to make the station dark and uninviting.
