With just months away from completion, the new 2.3km relief road will reduce congestion, boost employment and create opportunities for more sustainable travel, providing traffic relief in Arborfield and Arborfield Cross and the surrounding rural lanes. It will also support the development of Arborfield Strategic Development site consisting of 3,500 new homes. A computer fly-through showing a visualisation of the new road once complete can be viewed on YouTube by searching ‘ACRR- Bridge fly through’ » Work to date The overall good weather over the last few weeks has been in our favour and has enabled us to progress operational works, whilst maintaining social distancing in line with Government advice and guidance. We will obviously be doing everything practical to keep any intrusion to a minimum and mitigate the impact as far as possible. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience and kindly ask you to bear with us whilst these necessary works are carried out.
