The International Scientific Exchange Foundation of （ISEFC）is founded in 1999, sponsored by 29 domestic scientists including Din Shisun, Zhu Guangya, etc. and 25 overseas scientists including Yan Zhenning, Ding Zhaozhong, Chen Xingshen etc. ISEFC is affiliated with the ministry of Science and Technology of China and delegated by China Geological Survey under the Ministry of Land and Resources of China.

ISEFC is a non-profit foundation dedicated to enhancing international and domestic exchange in Science and Technology, promoting commercialization of technology and awarding outstanding contributors. ISEFC has organized various conference, forums, seminars and discussion panels to facilitate the development, cooperation and exchange among government, Academy, industry, university and investment institution. ISEFC is working diligently to build up a mechanism that can bring scientific ideas, technical innovations, and industrial development together for prosperity of the society. For undeveloped region, ISEFC has launched “Spring Rain Project”, and successfully built 222 local stations to provide technological and education assistance.

Since 2010, ISEFC started to build Expert Committee headed by Mr. Wu Hequan, a prominent scientist. Now 44 academicians from Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chinese Academy of Sciences and 58 scientists in different scientific field in China have committed to participant in the Expert Committee. The Expert Committee is divided into 8 panels covering the most important scientific and technological fields including information and electronic engineering, materials science, environment science, life science and biological medicine, energy, earth science, civil construction and modern agriculture. With this Expert Committee ISEFC strives to provide advisory service to government institutions and industry, promote commercialization of technology.
