Douglas Hodge Actor
Douglas Hodge is a five times Olivier nominated actor-director, who has worked at the National Theatre, the RSC, Shakespeare's Globe and the Royal Court Theatre.
As a writer and director he has directed TORCH SONG TRILOGY at the Menier Chocolate Factory in 2012. He was Associate Director at the Donmar theatre and his directing work includes DIMETOS, ABSURDIA, LAST EASTER at Birmingham Rep and SEE HOW THEY RUN which went straight to the West End after a sell-out tour. Douglas has also directed two short films and a multi camera piece for BBC2. He also co-wrote FOREST PEOPLE, a half hour screenplay for BBC2.
For ten years he worked almost exclusively with Harold Pinter as both actor and director. In 2015 he directed a version of Pinter's OLD TIMES starring Clive, Owen, Eve Best and Kelly Reilly for a production from Roundabout Theatre on Broadway.
As a composer Douglas won the Stiles and Drew award in 2012 for Best New Song for POWERCUT.
