Remote Programming Steps Programming New Remote (2004-06) Ford Falcon/Fairmont/Fairlane BA-FG series & Territory models (2003-2012) IMPORTANT: Existing remotes are removed from the system memory during the programming procedure. Ensure that all remotes are available to be programmed at the same time – Existing & New. 1. Enter vehicle & ensure all doors are closed. 2. Switch ignition from OFF to the ACC position (one click in ignition). 3. Press the Rear Window Demister button 3 times (EB-ED models, press fuel cap release or boot release instead) within 4 seconds – Don’t rush this step. 4. After 5 seconds, door locks should cycle to indicate that the system is in “Training Mode”. (If this step fails turn the key to “OFF” and the back to “ACC” and repeat step 3. 5. Press the Unlock button on every keypad you wish to program. 6. The door locks will cycle twice to indicate that the remote has been trained. 7. Turn the ignition lock “OFF”. The door locks will cycle to indicate that the “Training Mode” has been exited.

TIPS AND HINTS  You should always be able to re-train the old remote provided it was operational in the first place.  A maximum of 4 remotes can be trained to this system. Please note: On Utes, only the XR or S packs models before build sate 10/97 were fitted with remotes – after this date all models are fitted.

1. Close all the doors.

2. Turn the Ignition key from position 0 (OFF) to II (ON) 8 times within 10 seconds. (Door locks will cycle to indicate you are in programming mode)

3. Press any button on the remote within 20 seconds, if successful the vehicle will lock and unlock all the doors.

4. To program additional remotes, press any button on the new remote within 20 seconds.

5. Turn the ignition key to position 0 (OFF) to exit the programming mode.

1. Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode.

2. Within 20 seconds press any button on the original remote. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.

3. Within 20 seconds, press any button on the new remote. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming.

4. Within 20 seconds, press any button on any remaining remotes. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming. 5. Turn the ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.
