Built with a 6in Flor grade cork tapered grip and a double-banded sliding ring seat from highly figured spalted maple. A select pale amber agate and blued nickel hardware throughout. Wrapped in apricot Japanese silk to match the wood and agate colours. It comes with a homemade tweed rod bag and custom fibreglass tube with Yamame artwork from Andrea Larko to complete the Japanese theme.

The fishery is an upper/middle beat of the Deveron and offers 2 miles of excellent fishing on one of Scotland’s premier salmon, sea trout and brown trout spate rivers. Apart from excellent salmon fishing, the beat has recently developed a deserved reputation for large (5-7lb) wild brown trout, particularly around April/May and good numbers of sea trout in June/July (to 14lb recently) that back up behind the junction on the beat. A handmade wooden net with rubber ghost bag. Each net is completely handmade in the Eden Valley, Cumbria, about 1.5 miles from the River Eden and looking out towards the Lake District. The mesh is fish friendly rubber, quick drying, doesn’t smell and doesn’t snag your hooks. The handle is made from English Elm and the hoop is Ash and Elm, polished to 2000 grit, with a homemade beeswax and oil finish. Also supplied with leather and solid brass magnet and lanyard attachment points.
