READY TO DIVE IN? 3 1999 7101 Lightsaber™ Duel 1999 7151 Sith Infi ltrator™ THE DARK SIDE OF LEGO® STAR WARS™ IP & SKU Introduction We’ve been making Star Wars™ models since 1999 – awesome starships, minifi gures to play with and collect, UCS display sets – and the dark side has been part of our range since the start. So much so that, in our launch year, Darth Maul himself made two separate LEGO® Star Wars appearances – in the 7101 Lightsaber Duel and the 7151 Sith Infi ltrator sets. You could say we haven’t picked a side. 2020 31200 Star Wars™ The Sith™ 4 Exclusive art you’ve We set out to create something truly unique and never seen before different from anything else out there, so we based this model on brand-new artwork created especially for LEGO® Art. The original drawings were all in black and white, and showed the three characters in a variety of poses and croppings. We worked closely with them to refi ne our selection, and added in the colouring and the lighting, as well as the Lightsaber elements that really make the artwork stand out. Essentially, we’ve created IP & SKU Introduction three exclusive, never-before-seen images that fans can build and display. Kitt and Christopher 5 IP & SKU Introduction 6 APPEARANCES Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Star Wars: The Clone Wars Star Wars Rebels Solo: A Star Wars Story We made five different ver- sions of Darth Maul before DARTH MAUL we finally captured the look that we wanted to get out of him. Kylo Ren wears a helmet and Darth Vader is looking ‘off camera,’ but Maul stares right at you. We’re quite proud of the way IP & SKU Introduction his eyes capture the menace of the character. We found the right amount of cropping that brings you close to his face, and the effect is quite unsettling – and cool. Kitt and Christopher EVOLUTION Check out the different LEGO® Star Wars™ Darth Maul characters over the years. Not representing real size 7 Darth Vader was our biggest design challenge, primarily DARTH VADER because he’s such an iconic character. We worked closely with Lucasfilm, played around with different poses and the Lightsaber’s reflection, and went back to the drawing board several times. We kept looking at the design and thinking “still not quite right”. Capturing his half-profile pose with ® IP & SKU Introduction LEGO elements was hard work, but we’re really pleased with the result. Kitt and Christopher EVOLUTION Two intergalactic icons in one: Darth Vader and LEGO® Star Wars™ Not representing real size 8 APPEARANCES Star Wars: A New Hope Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Star Wars Rebels IP & SKU Introduction 9 IP & SKU Introduction 10 APPEARANCES Star Wars: The Force Awakens Star Wars: The Last Jedi Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker We had to get very close to Kylo Ren’s face in order to make his helmet shine KYLO REN – otherwise you wouldn’t be able to distinguish the stripes of light that run through it when you build it with LEGO® elements. The final design is a pretty tight close-up, so fans can build the shadowy areas with black pieces and IP & SKU Introduction all the contrasting light elements can stand out. Kitt and Christopher EVOLUTION How will the Kylo Ren models evolve in the future? Patience we must have. Perceptions of Religion from Star Wars and Star Trek Abstract Hollywood films and eligionr have an ongoing rocky relationship, especially in the realm of science fiction. A brief comparison study of the two giants of mainstream sci-fi, Star Wars and Star Trek reveals the differing attitudes toward religion expressed in the genre. Star Trek presents an evolving perspective, from critical secular humanism to begrudging personalized faith, while Star Wars presents an ambiguous mythological foundation for mystical experience that is in more ways universal. This article is available in Journal of Religion & Film: https://digitalcommons.unomaha.edu/jrf/vol7/iss2/3 Schultes: Any Gods Out There? Science Fiction has come of age in the 21st century. From its humble beginnings, "Sci- Fi" has been used to express the desires and dreams of those generations who looked up at the stars and imagined life on other planets and space travel, those who actually saw the beginning of the space age, and those who still dare to imagine a universe with wonders beyond what we have today.

Some of the controls will be different on the other versions (Pinball FX 2, Star Wars Pinball, etc...), but everything else in the Guide remains the same. INTRODUCTION This Table came about as a result of the partnership between Zen Studios and LucasArts; this license allowed Zen to produce Tables based on the Star Wars License. As of now Zen has been licensed to release 10 Star Wars Themed Tables but with more Tables possible in the future. The third batch of Tables was released in a 4 Pack which include the Tables; Han Solo, Droids, Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope & Masters of The Force. This Table is of course the Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope; which is a Table that pays homage to the iconic Film.
