The Team:

Montis is young dynamic company based on cutting edge science that promises to deliver life changing medicines to patients in desperate need. The team is building on mechanistic insights into the relationship between vascular dysfunction and immune suppression in tumors to discover new therapeutics for patients with advanced cancer. We are looking for exceptional scientists to join us as we continue to build out our research team.

The role:

As a Molecular Biology / Protein Scientist, your main tasks and responsibilities will entail:

• Designing and executing well-controlled experiments in vitro and in vivo; • Supervision of technical staff to execute experimental plans • Collaborating closely with other research organizations or CROs; • Manage and/or perform the cloning and production of proteins including antibodies • Analyzing proteins including antibodies in a range of biophysical assays • Delivering results in a timely manner; • Overseeing multiple projects simultaneously; • Propagating skills and knowledge to other team members.

Your proﬁle:

We are looking for an experienced Molecular Biology / Protein Scientist, preferably with the following knowledge and expertise:

• You hold a PhD in protein sciences or immunology or a related ﬁeld with a minimum of 5 years of experience following your PhD; • You have deep knowledge of protein science; • Previous experience with antibody engineering a plus; • You have a strong experimental background in molecular biology and protein analysis; • You are able to communicate in an effective manner, both verbally and written; • You are a highly collaborative scientist who works well in teams; • You can effectively work independently; • You are quality and solution driven; • Industry-experience is a plus; • Bilingual or even trilingual: Dutch – English (high ﬂuency) - French Our offer:
