Zoos and aquariums accredited by the Association of & Aquariums (AZA) are dedicated to care, conservation, education, and . saves and their through conservation leadership and engaging experiences, inspiring people to learn, care and act. Woodland Park Zoo currently partners with 37 conservation projects in more than 50 countries worldwide and in our own backyard. These projects protect species such as snow , golden tamarins, western pond , and Oregon silverspot butterflies, through captive management, preservation, community-based involvement, management of human-wildlife conflicts, education, and research.
