Regarding monitoring locations where air dose rates were measured at multiple points, the highest and lowest values were selected from the average of values for all those points. * The number of monitored facilities excludes facilities that were closed and those that had already been monitored in the survey at schools, etc. (from September 8 to October 14, 2011), and include those subjected to additional surveys, among the 318 scheduled monitoring facilities in the action plan. * In general, “Previous monitoring results” are the values at playgrounds, etc. obtained through the Environmental Radiation Monitoring at Child Welfare Facilities, etc. in Fukushima Prefecture conducted from June 10 to June 16.

[Measurement Method] - Air dose rates were measured at the following locations: one location at the main gate of child welfare facilities, etc. (on the premises), one location at an entrance (in the case of more than one entrance, the one highly used by lower grade children and students), and five locations at the center and four corners of playgrounds, etc. - Monitoring results are the average values of five readings at each monitoring location. (Monitoring results at playgrounds, etc. are the overall averages of the average values at five locations.)
