ATTEMPT TO GET BACK TO .500 AT HOME--The Royals climbed to 14-15 in Kauffman Stadium this year with last night’s win, snapping a 4-game home slide...the current mark matches KC’s home ledger after 29 games here a year ago, but then the Royals went on a roll and wound up 44-37 in “The K.”. A SPLIT STARTS 8-GAME STAY--Tonight starts the second leg of this 8-game homestand that began with a 1-1 split against cross-state rival St. Louis...the Yankees are here through Monday and then the Royals will resume play against the A.L.
