Young Voices 2017

Dear Parents,

I am very excited to announce that this year, the academy has signed up to take part in Young Voices!!

What is Young Voices? •Give your child the performance opportunity of a lifetime at the world's greatest venues: The Genting Arena, NEC Birmingham •Engage your child with our diverse range of music arranged especially for them . •Offer your child the chance to sing alongside incredible artists (Leona Lewis, Gary Barlow, Stacey Solomon and Alexandra Burke have all performed with Young Voices) •Makes choir practice the most popular activity in school

Young voices is a Key Stage 2 choir for all and we are thrilled to be taking part. It will run as an after school club starting next Wednesday 14th September from 3.30 til 4.30pm.

As part of the club, children will be bringing home words to learn for all the songs they will be performing, links to YouTube where they can practise the dances and other documents of merchandise that they can buy in readiness for their big performance in January. There will also be a voluntary contribution for each child to take part in the event in Birmingham to cover the cost of the coach (again we can let you know more when we have confirmed numbers of children participating).

On January 25th, we will take the children to the Genting Arena for the whole day to rehearse and get ready for their performance in the evening. You will have the opportunity to buy tickets to come along and see them perform with 6,000 other children in the world’s biggest choir!!!

If you would like your child to take part in this amazing event, please sign the form below and return in to school by no later than Wednesday 14th September (which is when we start rehearsing).
