Yes, Twin City Beauty College (main campus) and our (3) branch locations, Traverse City Beauty College, Michiana Beauty College, and Tulip City Beauty College have distributed no less than 50% of the funds to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grant to students.

2. The total amount of funds that the institution will receive, or has received from the Department under the HEERF student portion.

3. The total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of the date of submission.

4. The estimated total number of students at the institution eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act:

5. The total number of students who have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of October 13, 2020:

6. The method used by the institution to determine which students receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants and how much they would receive under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.

Twin City Beauty College and all branch locations evenly divided the funds to be given amongst 164 eligible students. Four students would not sign the appropriate forms in order to receive the funds and therefore none were disbursed to them. Those funds were then given to eligible students who were most affected by the situation and would greatly benefit from receiving additional funds.

7. Any instructions, directions, or guidance provided by the institution to students concerning the Emergency Financial Aid Grants.

Twin City Beauty College and all branch locations required students to sign our Student Acknowledgment Form which states the use of the emergency grant aid will be used for “expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to the coronavirus”, including: course materials; technology; food; housing; child care and health care. Students were also required to sign a Student Acknowledgment Form stating they do not have a current/pending federal or state conviction for drug possession or sale.
