ORDER

Whereas, in view of emerging situation due to Covid-19, the State Executive committee of Department of Disaster N4anagement/ Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction vide Govt. Order no. 27 -JK(DI4RRR) of 2021 Dated:- O2-O5-202I, has empowered District Magistrates to take local preventive measures for containment and breaking the chain of COVID-19 transmission; And

whereas, Tehsildar Surankote vide communication NO: N/Skt/96 Dated:-06_05_2021 and Tehsildar Haveli vide communication NO: 190TH/Oe/ dated: 06-05-2021 have requested to declare following areas as micrq-containment zones since considerable number of corona positive cases have been reported from these areas, s. (500 mtrs from left side of the road and 200 mtrs from right side of the road).

Whereas, in order to check further transmission and to break the chain of COVID-l9 infection in the area and after going through the communication received from Tehsildar Surankoteffehsildar Haveli, I am of the considered opinion that it has become imperative to ot 7 take further stringent precautionary measures vlz declaring these areas as Microcontainment zones.

Now, therefore, in view of the above and for the safety and well-being of general I, Inder Jeet, KAS, District Magistrate, Poonch in exercise of powers vested in section 144 CfPC, sectlon 34 of the Disaster l4anagement Ad 2005 and section 3 cs Diseases Act, 1897 do herebv order as follows: -

That the areas mentioned above are declared as Microcontainment zones, That these areas shall be under strict lockdown and type perimeter control except for essential needs, 3. That there shall be no inward/outward movement of any person from these areas except in case of Medical emergencies and essential needs, That it shall be mandatory for the persons residing in these areas to get themselves tested and any refusal in this regard shall invite action incfuding filing of FIR under Disaster Management Act 2005 and Epidemics Diseases A4 1897. It is Further ordered that:- 5. Tehsildar Surankote/ Haveli shall be the overall incharge of these contalnment

zones for enforcement of SOPs. 6. Sh, Tarif Hussain Shah ,Naib Tehsildar Surankote (9107555786) shall be the Administrator for containment Zone/ W.NO 8 & 10 Surankote. 7. Sh, Jatinder Raina Master Gl.4S Plera,(9797693144) shall be the Administrator

for containmnent zone of W. No 1 lvlohalla Qazi lvlohra, 8, Chief Executive Officer IvlC Poonch/ EO Surankote shall ensure sufficient fumigation/Sanitization of these areas.

9, Tehsildar Haveli/ Surankote with BlvlO/SHO and Administrators concerned shall ensure 100o/o screeningffesting and vaccination of all eligible residents of these areas as well as download and use of Aroyga Setu App. 10, Block lvledical Surankote/l4andi shall deploy sulTlcient staff for sampling and survillience within these designated areas.

11. The District Control Room shall monitor implementation of these lnstructions and

shall submit the lnformatlon to the undersigned on dally basis at 4r00 PP,. 12. The Administrators shall ensure the availability of basic facilities including food grains, LPG, medicines in Containment Zones through concerning departments. The contact number of COVID-19 Control No. 01965-222012, 01965-222079 (N4edical Emergency) shall be widely circulated among the population so that the information with regard to any suspect shall be shared by locals with the authorities. The inhabitants can also call on aforesaid contact numbers in case of any medical emergency. 1n view of the emergent nature of the order, it is being passed ex-parte and ressed to the public at large. It shall be circulated in print, electronic, social media for ion of all concerned. Any violation of this order shall invite action as per the provisions of section 188 of and other legal provisions as applicable.
