JUNE ENDORSEMENT BALLOT FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES AND U.S. SENATOR - NEW YORK NOVEMBER 6, 2012

VOTING INSTRUCTIONS: *Place your ballot in an envelope and seal it. *On the outside of your envelope, print your name, write your email address, phone number, sign and date (please print clearly.) *No Endorsement” will count toward the total number of votes while “Abstain” will not count toward the total number of votes.

Vote for one choice in one primary and your vote will count as a vote for DFNYC to endorse the winning candidate for the party in whose primary you voted. OR vote “No Endorsement At This Time”, OR vote “Abstain” (Explanation below)

Because primaries and conventions haven't been held yet, the voting and counting is a little more complicated than usual. Here is how to cast your vote in order to reflect what you want DFNYC to do: 1. If you want to endorse a particular candidate now, but you would be OK with endorsing whoever wins the DFNYC vote in that candidate’s party, then cast a vote for your candidate. Your vote will count to endorse the winner for the party in whose primary you voted. 2. If you do not want to endorse whoever wins the DFNYC vote in your candidate’s party, vote No Endorsement At This Time or Abstain. Take into account your realistic assessments of what the parties will do. 3. If you would rather have DFNYC wait until the parties have chosen their nominees and then endorse, or if you do not want DFNYC to endorse at all, vote No Endorsement At This Time. 4. And, of course, you can always abstain.
