The County Council (Various Roads, Castle & ) (7.5 Tonne Weight Limit) Order 201*

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1-4 and Parts III & IV to Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To introduce a 7.5 Tonne Weight Limit on the following lengths of roads, & Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree: Road Description Bayley Street For its entire length. Bowmans Park For its entire length. Castle Close For its entire length. Christmas Field For its entire length. Church Lane For its entire length. Churchponds For its entire length. Crown Street For its entire length. King Street For its entire length. Kirby Hall Road For its junction with Nunnery Street, north west for a distance of approximately 240 metres. Luces Lane For its entire length. Majendie Lane For its entire length. New Park For its entire length. Nunnery Street From its junction with Yeldham Road to its junction with Bayley Street. Pottery Lane For its entire length. Priory Wood For its entire length. Queen Street From its junction with Station Road to its junction with St James Street. St James Street For its entire length. Station Road From a point approximately 234 metres north east of its junction with Yeldham Road to its junction with Queen Street. Sudbury Hill From its junction with New Park, east for a distance of approximately 13 metres.

‘The Essex County Council (Nunnery Street, Station Road, Castle Hedingham & Bulmer Tye) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2004’ and ‘Essex County Council (Church Lane, Castle Hedingham) (Weight Restriction) Order 1991’ are hereby revoked.
