ENTRY GUIDELINES This is a State Meet, not an ‘all-comers’ meet! If your athlete has not been working on ALL events during the year, please do not enter them into this event. It is for serious multi-athletes only! When entering, please put a mark that the athlete has achieved in competition. DO NOT FABRICATE MARKS! There are awards for State Champion and each grade level. The field is limited to 32 athletes in the decathlon and 32 athletes in the heptathlon. Greater weight is given to completed multis versus aggregate marks. Decathlon: You must enter a mark for all ten events. To be considered for competition, athletes must have a sum of four electronic athletic.net marks over the point level for their grade as indicated in the table on the next page. The 110H, and counting as part of these four events is strongly suggested. Athletes using an athletic.net 1600m time or 800m time towards their total will have a formula applied to regress a 1500m time or a 400m time. Athletes may also qualify with a completed decathlon over the point total for their grade (indicated in the table on the next page) that is verifiable on athletic.net. All marks will be vetted before they are officially entered into the meet! High jump will start at 4’ 10” and pole vault will start at 8’ 0” with no exceptions. Heptathlon: You must enter a mark for all seven events. To be considered for competition, athletes must have a sum of three electronic athletic.net marks over the point level for their grade that is indicated in the table on the next page. The 100H and high jump counting as part of these three events is strongly suggested. Athletes using an athletic.net 1600m time or 100m/400m time towards their total will have a formula applied to regress an 800m time or a 200m time. Athletes may also qualify with a completed heptathlon over the point total for their grade (indicated in the table on the next page) that is verifiable on athletic.net. All marks will be vetted before they are officially entered into the meet! High jump will start at 4’ 0” with no exceptions.
