Foreword by The South West Region Chairman Welcome to the South West Region Fixtures book. When I was asked to write a forward for this book I did think, “was it a good idea?” Well here I am. The Fixtures book is a big help to me and I hope to you all, there are numerous weekend events, THS's and Rallies throughout the year and also booking forms included for many events. I must thank all the stewards, committee members and of course yourselves for all that you put in to make each event a success, we all know that this is hard work and most of the time “Thankless” but with out all your efforts none of this would happen.

I hope to get around to all DA's over this Camping season, though I cannot promise as, like you, I have a full calendar.

Corfe Castle ruins are one of Britain's most iconic and evocative survivors of the English Civil War, partially demolished in 1646 by the Parliamentarians, they sit proudly upon a hill of this beautiful historical village with the same name.
