Engelsk pressrelease: Through a unique collaboration between Marvel Studios and Columbia Records, AC/DC’s music will be featured in Marvel Studios “IRON MAN 2”, the sequel to the 2008 blockbuster film. In addition, Columbia Records will release the album AC/DC: Iron Man 2 on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. AC/DC: Iron Man 2, features 15 classic AC/DC songs selected from ten of the band’s studio albums, ranging from 1976 to 2008. The complete track listing can be found below. The film opens internationally (Sweden) April 28, 2010 and in the U.S. the film is scheduled for release on May 7, 2010. The debut video from AC/DC: Iron Man 2 is the AC/DC’s classic album cut “Shoot To Thrill,” which was filmed live last month in Buenos Aires during the band’s highly acclaimed Black Ice World Tour, the secondhighest grossing world tour of 2009 according to concert industry trade publication Pollstar. The video also incorporates exclusive footage from “IRON MAN 2” and debuts today worldwide. FY15 Performance 2. During FY15 of the HKDL, the tourism industry of Hong Kong was greeted with great challenges due to external factors as well as overall market condition and sentiment. Overnight tourists to Hong Kong, as a major source of guests for the HKDL, also recorded a decline in numbers owing to the external environment, in particular the exchange rate factor. In the light of the changes in number and structure of overnight tourist arrivals to Hong Kong, the business of the HKDL was also considerably impacted. 3. The HKDL received 6.8 million visitors in the year, which is 9% lower than prior year. This represents the third highest attendance since opening. Cumulative attendance since its opening in 2005 has exceeded 58 million as at the end of FY15. Local, Mainland and international visitors respectively accounted for 39%, 41% and 20% of total attendance for the year. Local attendance achieved a record high as a result of a series of promotions and special offers specifically targeted at the local market. 1 The Fiscal Year of the HKDL is generally a 52-week or 53-week period from October of the previous year to September of the year, with the Saturday closest to 30 September as the last day of the Fiscal Year.

    Tax and AC/DC Kim G C Moody FCPA, FCA, TEP September 21, 2015 Those of you who know me well will know that my first career choice was to be a music teacher. I studied and played music classically well into my teens. When I realized that my talents would likely not provide me a stable living, I switched gears and became a Chartered Accountant. I still love music – all types of music with a few exceptions – but I have a soft spot for classic rock which is often playing in my office. One of my all time favorite bands is AC/DC. Their straight-ahead blues rock with very simple (almost comical) lyrics is exactly what I like to listen to when I need to turn my brain off (which doesn’t happen very often). Accordingly, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to attend AC/DC’s concert in Edmonton on September 20, 2015. It was a cold and wet night, but that didn’t dampen the spirit of the crowd. Classic rock concerts and tax go together like wine and cheese. The last time that AC/DC was on tour in Canada was 2009 and I attended their concert in Vancouver. I wrote a blog about tax and AC/DC back then and I’m continuing that tradition here. So what was I thinking about while listening? OXOBY* We use tools from experimental economics to address the age-old debate regarding who was a better singer in the band AC/DC. Our results suggest that (using wealth maximization as a measure of ‘‘better’’) listening to Brian Johnson (relative to listening to Bon Scott) resulted in ‘‘better’’ outcomes in an ultimatum game.
